Job Details:

The purpose of this position is to support the implementation and administration of the MySafeRx medication adherence monitoring platform as part of an innovative treatment program for opioid use disorder among women who recently gave birth (within past year) or have young children. The MySafeRx platform is a novel method of remotely supervising self-administration of controlled medications such as buprenorphine to individuals with an opioid use disorder, using a novel integration of several mobile technologies. The position will support the MySafeRx for Moms program located in and around Boston's Metro North region. The half-time (0.5 FTE) position will be based at Cambridge Health Alliance's Central Street Care Center in Somerville, MA, although most required work will be conducted remotely. The position requires someone who is available to work Monday through Friday, and may be held in conjunction with another position at CHA. *This position is grant-funded through an award from RIZE Massachusetts. We anticipate a two-year funding cycle will begin July 1. This will be a temporary, part-time (0.5 FTE or less) position until CHA officially secures the two-year award.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Coordination:

First line response and triage for internal and external inquiries about MySafeRx for Moms. Arranges appointments, conferences, and travel, and confirms scheduled meetings. Coordinates MySafeRx for Moms meetings by reserving conference room space or arranging conference call lines, providing AV equipment as requested, scheduling speakers, and preparing handout materials. Drafts meeting agendas (based on input from MySafeRx for Moms team) and takes minutes of meetings and distributes to attendees. Responsible for arranging telephone coverage for MySafeRx for Moms when away from office. Maintains contact information for all MySafeRx for Moms contacts, affiliates, and members. Coordinates preparation of materials for, as well as correspondence with, study sponsors, referring physicians and regulatory authorities, as well as the MySafeRx Inc. not-for-profit organization. Understands the MySafeRx for Moms program design, its technological and clinical components, and RIZE-MA grant requirements. Assist with organization of events related to MySafeRx for Moms.

Administration:

Provides high-level administrative support to the project director and staff. Maintain important project documents. Monitor and manage website content. Anticipates and monitors project director's needs by gathering data, reports and correspondence. Coordinates project director's schedule, meetings and calendar. Interacts with internal and external parties at all levels including CEO, Deans, senior leadership, physicians, residents, and vendors. Prepares reports, presentations, and correspondence using Adobe, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Contributes to systems and work-flow improvements on MySafeRx for Moms processes. Train and monitor activities and schedules of other project staff. Maintains shared folders and documents for MySafeRx for Moms. Monitor physical and aesthetic appearance of MySafeRx for Moms website, space and facilities, and responsible for coordinating any needed maintenance. Other Provides assistance to Recruitment Coordinator with recruitment and technology troubleshooting. Helps with coverage of Recruitment Coordinator tasks when requested by project director. Carries pager 24/7 for emergency calls related to MySafeRx for Moms technical or safety issues that may arise. Execute extra assignments as requested by project director. Attend related meetings, events, and trainings.

Skills & Knowledge: Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well as a team member Highly organized and detail-oriented project management, to track many simultaneous work streams Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with study participants Interest in behavioral and public health issues, cultural competency/accessibility, telehealth technology, and provider-patient relationships Meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality of data Creative and adaptable Able to translate data into meaningful reports Strong technological skills (and interest), including use of smartphone apps and trouble-shooting computer issues Able to work well independently and as part of a team Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (experience with related Google programs also preferred) Emotional resilience, positive attitude, curiosity, openness, and willingness to learn, collaborate, and problem-solve Able to direct and lead the work of others when necessary Compassion for women with opioid use disorder and interest in supporting young parents with recovery

Experience: Prior project management experience preferred Research or clinical experience preferred Some experience with people receiving treatment for opioid use disorder (or other substance) preferred

Education: Bachelors' degree or equivalent required; degree in the sciences, pre-med, engineering, medicine, or social sciences or related field
